Mold Testing in Texas, Arkansas & Oklahoma
A test tells you what is there. It will not tell you why.
EnviroGator collects air or surface samples, sends them to an accredited laboratory, which explains the results. Testing is available on its own when you already know the source and the scope, but most mold-testing concerns are better answered through a full mold inspection.
- Certified lab analysis
- Air or surface samples
- Results in 2-3 days
- Mold License MAC 2179

What a mold test can and cannot tell you.
Testing is useful data, but it is not the whole answer. Knowing the limitation of testing alone up front prevents a second visit.
- Confirm whether mold is present in a sample.
- Identify the type and species of mold present when the lab method supports that level of detail.
- Give you documented, lab-certified results.
- Support remediation scope decisions once the source and affected area are known.
- Find the moisture source that is feeding the mold.
- Tell you how far the problem has actually spread.
- Serve as a remediation protocol on its own.
- Replace a building investigation when one is needed.
Just the test, or the root cause.
Most people searching for mold testing really need the inspection, because the inspection finds the source and tells you what to do next.
Mold Testing
Just the lab results. Good for when you already know the source and only want the data.
- Air or surface samples collected
- Certified laboratory analysis
- Mold type and species identified when the lab method supports it
- No moisture-source investigation
- Not sufficient on its own to build a remediation protocol
- No recommendation provided, due to extent and source not identified.
Best only if you already have an investigation you trust in hand.
Mold Inspection
Testing plus assessment, the part that finds the source, how far it has spread, and what to do about it.
- Testing included
- Full moisture-source investigation
- Extent and scope of the problem
- Written report with findings and recommendations
- Remediation protocol available when the project requires one
Includes lab testing. If professional remediation is recommended, a written protocol is a separate next step.
Whichever service fits your situation, the next step is getting you scheduled.
Call (903) 710-1964When a test on its own is fine.
There are a few times when the data alone is the deliverable.
You repaired a leak quickly, dried out the area and want to confirm no grown for pieace of mind.
You want to confirm what species is present at a known location.
You are documenting a specific spot for your own records and are not planning remediation from the test alone.
You already know the moisture source and need sample data to support the next decision.
A protocol needs an investigation.
A sample result can identify what was collected, but it cannot write the fix on its own. A remediation protocol depends on knowing the moisture source, affected materials, and how far the condition extends.
That means one of two things has to happen first: EnviroGator performs the investigation, or you provide an investigation report from another company that can support the scope.
The inspection already includes testing.
If you are torn between standalone testing and inspection, the inspection is usually the better starting point because it includes the testing and adds the source investigation that makes the result useful.
Standalone testing is still available when you already know the source and only need lab data.
Not sure which you need? Start here.
